From the NEA Four to political advertisements, from the Israel-Palestine conflict to technology’s role in the future of the human body, for 20 years the Vera List Center for Art and Politics (VLC) at The New School for Public Engagement has hosted some of New York City’s widest-ranging and most popular public panel discussions.
In celebration of its two decades of public programs that have shaped the history of politically engaged art, the VLC is now looking to you to help choose the topic of The People’s Panel, which will take place on Friday, May 17.
Search and play with the online archives of the Vera List Center and vote for any event that you would most like to see revisited today by clicking on the * icon. The most popular event will be creatively restaged at the VLC’s 20th anniversary conference on May 17. Votes for your favorite event can be cast until April 1.
