The boundaries between disciplines are breaking down. People who were trained in industrial design and other fields now often work in ways that demonstrate the blurring of traditional domains. Today designers move from one complex problem to another, and to understand and address their social and technological causes and implications, practitioners are called on to develop skills in making and craft as well as thinking and analysis abilities. Their work must bring together theory and practice to be most effective.

This event is presented as part of D’ Days.
