For the Fondation D’Entreprise Cathay Capital Prize, hosted by the Strategic Design and Management program at Parsons Paris in the School of Design Strategies, three finalists have been selected from the MS Strategic Design & Management Program in New York to form project partnerships with three Parsons Paris students.
Congratulations to the following finalists selected by Parsons who will later compete for the final three prizes:
- Ashley Rui Li (MS SDM NY) & Ksenia Muzyka (BBA Paris) – Business in Residency – a cross-cultural business incubator for SMEs
- Isata Yansaneh (MS SDM NY) & Amina Suleimanagich (BBA Paris) – Remnant Textile – hub programme that connects unwanted textiles with designers & manufacturers
- Jessica Wong (MS SDM NY) & Maureen Muse (BFA Paris) – Makers Connect – platform to link & build a community of Makers worldwide
While the students are competing for the top prize, a spirit of mentorship & “coopetition” has been embraced across the programmes & between teams, as they all work together to advance the three projects.
In the coming months students will work to progress their projects through prototyping & developing business plans, competing for the final prizes at the end of May in Paris.
