In the fall of 2015 Yong Anderson’s sophomore and junior BFA Fashion Design students had the opportunity to design their own looks and patterns for the latest Marie Claire book: Mon Cours de Style (summer 2016). The book features the work of Parsons Paris students who come from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Cuba, Colombia, and the United States. In addition to featuring each student and their work, the accompanying patterns to recreate the looks come with the book.

And patterns were created. (This one by Julieta became the look featured on the cover.)

The Marie Claire team came to Parsons Paris with photographer Annabelle Tiaffay, a model, and make-up artist for a long day of shooting. Each student worked with the Marie Claire team to style their clothes. (Photo: Julieta works to style the cover shot.)
