NSSR Student Travel and Campus Updates Surrounding Covid-19
Dear NSSR students,
I hope that you are staying safe and prioritizing your health and well-being at this time. At NSSR, we remain ready to respond to your concerns and questions. Although the campus is currently not offering in-person classes through April 12 and many staff are working remotely, we are still available to you via email.
Many questions have arisen about what will happen on April 13 in the event that The New School decides to re-open for in-person classes. To clarify, at this time we have not yet made decisions about the remainder of the semester.
As many of you are traveling and leaving New York City, we want to assure you that all New School colleges (SPE/Parsons/CoPA/NSSR/Lang) will allow students to complete the semester online should you decide not to return to New York.
If you are an international student and want to learn more about how online classes will affect your student status, please see the ISSS website: newschool.edu/international-students-scholars. If you have questions or concerns, ISSS advisors are available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for virtual advising.
