New University-Wide Graduate Transfer Credit Policy

We are pleased to announce the approval of a new university-wide Graduate Transfer Credit Policy (GR-TCP). Formulated with broad input from across the university, this new policy sets forth general stipulations for the approval of transfer credits for all graduate students at The New School. In order to better serve our graduate student body, the GR-TCP presents a common framework for the acceptance of transfer credits at the graduate level, while simultaneously preserving the autonomy of each program to determine how many credits may be transferred. It provides a clear, uniform and transparent overview for transferring credit for our graduate students, and we hope that it will make this process easier to navigate for all.

If you have any questions about the transfer credit process, you may contact creditanddegree@newschool.edu.

We hope that you are all well and safe, and wish you all the best as we enter the last weeks of the semester.
