Update on Contract Negotiations with ACT-UAW Local 7902

A message from Tokumbo Shobowale, Executive Vice President for Business and Operations; and Sonya Williams, Vice President for Human Resources

The university and Local 7902 union bargaining teams came to the table once again today and made important progress. We reached tentative agreement on four articles – bringing us that much closer to a renewed contract that works for everyone. We look forward to continuing the momentum during tomorrow’s bargaining session. You can learn more about the agreements reached today in our blog update.   

Thank you for your continued dedication to The New School during this time. We know it is a challenging moment, but we are confident we will reach agreement, as we have with all of the unions on campus throughout our history.
