Important Resources and Support for Our Community
As we continue to assess and navigate the impact of new federal policies and directives, we are writing to follow up on President Towers’ and Provost White’s messages from late last month with additional information and resources. We hope the information below is helpful to our community.
Know Your Rights Informational Training
One of the most important things each of us can do is to be informed about the issues, our rights, and the resources and support services that are available. On Thursday, February 13th, the university will host a “know your rights” informational training session open to all students, faculty, and staff. The session will provide strategies for how to stay safe and protect yourself and each other. As always, the safety of all members of our community remains our paramount concern.

Please look for more information about future “know your rights” training sessions in the weeks ahead.
Campus Resources
There are many resources on campus that provide services and support. The university has launched a new webpage, Supporting Our Community, to serve as a hub for information and resources related to these issues, and provide support for our students, faculty and staff. We hope you will visit the page often and share any new resources that might be valuable for others in our community. The page will be updated regularly with information relevant to our community, and please visit our FAQs for answers to additional questions.
We want to thank you for all that you do as a member of The New School. We remain focused on our teaching and learning mission, and supporting all who live, work, and study on our campus.
