Update on Enhancing Our Academic Vision
A Message from Dr. Renée T. White, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs
I’m writing to share some brief updates with you on our ongoing work to enhance and realign our academic vision. This project has been steadily progressing throughout this semester, and I am grateful to the many staff and faculty colleagues who have dedicated their time and efforts to ensuring a smooth and thoughtful process for all throughout this period.
As we continue to make progress, we have migrated the current webpage Enhancing Our Academic Vision to Guru in order to provide detailed information there that is specific to faculty and staff. It will serve as our primary hub for information about this work and I encourage you to visit the page regularly for the latest updates and information. We will continue to keep this Guru card up-to-date for everyone’s reference.
We are also pleased to share this FAQ document that we have prepared in response to questions received from the community. Hopefully it will serve as a helpful resource, but feel free to reach out to provost@newschool.edu with any further questions or concerns related to the work ahead. Additional updates to SPE students are scheduled to be sent this week.
We have made progress and our next steps will continue to move this important work forward over the course of the next academic year. As always, I will continue to provide timely and transparent updates to the community about these academic shifts and appreciate all that you do for our university.
