Meet the Faculty – Sakiko Fukuda-Parr

Meet Professor of International Affairs, Sakiko Fukuda-Parr! Prior to joining GPIA, Fukuda-Parr worked at the World Bank and the United Nations, where she served as Director of the Human Development Office from 1995-2004. Alongside Terra Lawson-Remer, founder and managing partner of the Catalyst Project, and Susan Randolph, associate professor emerita in the Department of Economics at the University of Connecticut, Fukuda-Parr was awarded the 2019 Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order for the ideas presented in the book Fulfilling Social and Economic Rights (Oxford University Press, 2015).
