2016/2017 Janey Annual Workshop: Elisa Taber – March 13
Please join us on Monday, March 13, 2017, 12-2 pm, for our session of the 2016-17 Janey Annual Workshop.
Elisa Taber will present her ongoing work “300 and 26”. Douglas de Toledo Piza will be commenting.
The Janey Workshop takes place at 80 5th Ave, Room G 529 (fifth floor).
Abstract: Elisa Taber will present on her fieldwork conducted in 2013 and 2016 in the Paraguayan Gran Chaco. Her ongoing lyric ethnography project is part translation of Nivaklé myths and part description of 30 second films shot in and around Neuland.
