Once again, the university and Local 7902 union met and continued to make progress towards a renewed contract. Today we reached tentative agreement on three additional articles, an important step that moves both parties forward toward a contract that is financially sustainable and reflects the valued contributions of our part-time faculty.
The university and union agreed to return to the bargaining table on Sunday, November 20. You can learn more about the agreements reached today in our blog update.
We are grateful for your continued patience and support during this time. We will continue to keep the community updated on the negotiations and are committed to reaching a strong, fair and sustainable contract as quickly as possible.
