Rebuild by Design — Full-Time or Part-Time Rainproof NYC Fellows

There is a fellow opportunity at Rebuild by Design, an organization that focuses on design-driven problem-solving to help communities develop resiliency in the face of climate change, social injustices, economic challenges, and more . Whether you can work full-time, or part-time, they are willing to consider you if you’re a good fit for the position. As a fellow, you will focus on developing and executing strategies that educate NYC government, city agencies and community members about the benefits of green infrastructure in protecting against extreme rainfall events. Social Contract — Social Impact Fellowship

The Social Contract is a non-governmental organization that implements social impact projects focused on a variety of issues including community violence intervention, organizational change management and culture, and inclusion and access. Their Social Impact Fellowship gives students the opportunity to work with a group of passionate people who are concerned with social change processes and how to approach complex social issues. They will teach you how to implement social impact projects of various kinds by guiding you through the necessary steps in developing impact projects, e.g. research and literature reviews, surveys and data collection, and prep for meetings with stakeholders. The position is for eight weeks, starting July 1st in Delaware. Pay is $18-$22 per hour for 10-15 hours per week. To learn more about the Fellowship, check out their webpage for more details. Scholarship Workshop: Personal Statement Writing

Having trouble writing your personal statements for scholarships and program applications? There are two personal statement writing workshops on Monday, April 17th at 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM (EDT). The workshops will be held at Wollman Hall, B500 at 65 West 11th Street, New York, NY if you would like to attend in person. Online attendance is also an option. Resume Building for Scholarships Workshop

On May 2nd at 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM (EDT) Narwhal Nation is hosting a resume building workshop online to help students construct strong resumes for scholarships, grants, and fellowships. Information Session on Internships in France

Have you ever dreamed of interning in France? The Director of Career Development and Internships at Parsons will be providing information on finding and obtaining internships in France, on April 18th at 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM (EDT). The information session will be held at the University Center in room 503. This is the perfect opportunity to get great insight into interning in France during your academic career. Interviewing Workshops

Career Services is hosting two online workshops to help students develop their interviewing skills. The workshops will cover screenings, verbal/nonverbal communication, help you with developing pitches, and with other aspects of interview etiquette. They will be held on Friday, April 28th at 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM (EDT) online. You can register here.
