Degrees and Programs
Master of Science in Environmental Policy & Sustainability Management
The New School is at the forefront of advancing climate policy and environmental justice through our master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management. Around the world, efforts are being made promote change by applying the insights of communities, societies, and grassroots organizations with close relationships to the land and its ecologies. Our graduate students draw on these grassroots perspectives, forms of Indigenous knowledge, and community engagement to critically address social and ecological challenges affecting local and global populations. Master of Science in Public and Urban Policy
The New School’s Master of Science program in Public and Urban Policy attracts and trains change makers who apply the tools and concepts of policy analysis to improve our communities, our cities, and our global future. They challenge the status quo and prioritize social inclusion, and equity in the design and implementation of public and urban policy. The program achieves these goals by offering a diverse group of learners a laboratory for putting theory into practice, in which students and faculty examine today’s critical public policy issues through an urban lens and design creative solutions, while working closely with leaders in government, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector. Master of Science in Non-Profit Management and Organizational Change Management
The Milano School is not currently admitting new students to the non-profit and organizational change management master’s degree programs. For those interested in management studies, we offer a graduate minor in Impact Entrepreneurship and graduate certificates in Leadership and Change, Sustainability Strategies, and Organization Development. You can also explore other graduate-level management and entrepreneurship programs offered in other colleges and departments of The New School.
