Parsons Holds I Heart Haiti Event
Parsons and the nonprofit organization The Justbecause will be presenting I Heart Haiti, an event to raise funds to aid victims of the earthquake. The event will take place on Thursday, February 25 at the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center at 2 West 13th Street, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Students will have the opportunity to make a donation, and those who donate $10 or more will recieve a free Haiti, Je’taime T-shirt, with all the proceeds going to the nonprofit organization Partners in Health. In return, students will be given the chance to be photographed by fashion photographer Romer Pedron. Photographs will be uploaded to The Justbecause blog and will also be included as part of the Wall of Givers, a photographic list of individuals who have donated to a particular cause supported by The Justbecause.
