Looking for a Good Read Parsons Presents First Faculty Book Fair
The first Parsons-wide faculty book fair will be held at the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center on Wednesday, March 3, from noon to 7:00 p.m., with a reception from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
More than 40 faculty members from across Parsons will take part in this event, which will feature books ranging from illustrated children’s books and limited edition artist’s books to exhibition catalogs, reference books, textbooks, and scholarly monographs.
The range of books featured represents the level of scholarship across the disciplines within Parsons, which include art and design studies; architecture, interior design, product design and lighting design; fine art, photography, illustration, communication design, and design and technology; design and management, integrated design, environmental studies, and urban and transdisciplinary design; and fashion design.
