Tickling the Ivories Piano Master Classes Held at Mannes

Two free master classes by world-renowned pianists Vladimir Feltsman, and Yefim Bronfman will take place at Mannes College The New School for Music in the Mannes Concert Hall, 150 West 85th Street over the next few weeks.
On Tuesday, April 27, at 3:00 p.m., Feltsman will give a lecture and demonstration, followed by a master class on Bach Basics.
During the master class he will be working with two students. Xuerong Zhao
will perform J.S. Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in B-flat minor, BWV 867 from the Well-Tempered Klavier, Book I, and Javor Bracic will perform J.S. Bach’s French Overture, BWV 831.
Bronfman’s master class will take place on Tuesday, May 11, at 3:00 p.m., with a focus on piano concerti.
