May Flowers with Thesis Exhibitions and Five-School Show
Throughout the month of May, Parsons The New School for Design will present thesis exhibitions featuring projects that cap off years of study by Parsons students, at the Shelia C. Johnson Design Center, along with venues across the city.
These creative thesis projects have been produced by undergraduate and graduate students in the range of degree programs at Parsons, including; architecture, communication design, design and management, design and technology, environmental studies, fashion design, fine arts, illustration, integrated design, interior design, lighting, photography, and product design.
The series continues with the AAS Fashion Design Line Debut, taking place in the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Gallery, May 7-13 and the School of Design Strategies thesis exhibition, taking place in the Arnold and Sheila Aronson Galleries, May 7-14. Also beginning May 7 and running through May 16, the BFA Product Design program will present an exhibition at the Schwartz Fashion Education Center. Additional exhibitions include the BFA Illustration at the Art Director’s Club (May 10-14), BFA Photography at Calumet Gallery (May 12-21), MFA Fine Arts at The Kitchen (May 14-24), the Parsons-wide Five-School Show at the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center, and The School of Constructed Environments exhibition, taking place on site at the school.
