Zooming Toward The Piano Prize Jazz Alum Glenn Zaleski Finals for Largest Jazz Fellowship in the World

New School Jazz alum Glenn Zaleski (’09) is one of five finalists who will compete to be the American Pianists Association’s 2011 Cole Porter Fellow in Jazz. This title comes with the largest award for a jazz pianist, a two-year fellowship worth $75,000.

The Jazz Fellowship Awards are produced every four years by the American Pianists Association to select the Cole Porter Fellow. A panel of musicians chose five finalists who are invited to Indianapolis for community outreach concerts, the premiere series, the semi-final, and finals rounds of the competition.
