Arts in Mind: Mental Health as Muse
Arts in Mind,, a series of conversations taking place throughout the fall semester, brings important artists working across the spectrum of media to engage mental health issues that frequently appear in their work. Elegies for our Lost Asylums, welcomes photographer Christopher Payne and visual artist Anna Schuleit to consider the tradition of art that has been informed by psychiatric institutions.
This conversation, co-sponsored by the Sandor Ferenczi Center at The New School for Social Research and the Austen Riggs Center in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, will take place on Wednesday, September 29, at 8:00 p.m. in Tishman Auditorium, 66 West 12th Street.
