On Friday, October 22, at 7:00 p.m., Sisters on the Runway presents a fashion show featuring work by Parsons designers and alumni, including the design duo Vena Cava. The show benefits Safe Horizon, the nation’s largest provider of services for victims of domestic violence, child abuse, human trafficking, rape, and sexual assault. In addition to a runway show, the evening includes a silent auction and raffle with donations from Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, NBC Universal, David Dixon, and more.
Sisters on the Runway is a student-run organization that has raised nearly $50,000 for non-profit organizations dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, since its founding in 2005. The benefit takes place in the Parsons Fashion Auditorium at 560 Seventh Avenue and is open to the public. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for the general public.
