The Mannes Orchestra at Lincoln Center
On Tuesday, April 5, at 8:00 p.m., in Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center – 65th Street and Broadway, the Mannes Orchestra will perform a program under the direction of David Hayes, director of Orchestral and Conducting Studies, consisting of the Bartok: Violin Concerto No. 2 with Guillaume Molko, violin; and the Prokofiev: Symphony No. 5 in B-Flat Major, op. 100.
Praised by the New York Times for its Youthful exuberance,, the Mannes Orchestra performs a comprehensive symphonic repertoire each year ranging from classical to modern, and collaborates with the Mannes Opera in 2 productions at the Kaye Playhouse. Admission is free and tickets can be picked up at the Alice Tully Box Office, from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Mon-Sat & Sun 12:00-6:00 p.m.
