At the end of the pop-up class, he offered up a Greenmarket recipe and answered questions. The class started by the statue of Gandhi at the south-west corner of Union Square.

On Friday, April 22, in observance of Earth Day, the newly developed Milano Sustainability Club will host a raw cooking class, with a focus on how to eat locally and seasonally on a budget. The demonstration will be followed by a picnic. The demonstration and lunch will be held at the Greenmarket at 1:00 p.m.

Update: Fabio’s pop-up class garnered some serious media coverage, which you can check out at The New York Times and NY1.
