Mind-Body Healing Through the Arts: Four June Lectures from the Creative Arts Therapy Program

The Mind-Body Healing Through the Arts lecture series presented by Creative Arts Therapy Program at The New School, brings top practitioners and innovators in the field of Creative Arts Therapy to The New School for lectures, discussions, and demonstrations.

Bestselling author Lynne McTaggart will be kicking-off the series on June 8, from 8:00-9:30 p.m. McTaggart is one of the world’s preeminent spokespersons on health and healing and the science of spirituality. Featured in the book and movie The Secret, McTaggart is the author of the worldwide bestsellers The Field and The Intention Experiment. She will speak about cutting-edge discoveries from the integration of science and spirituality from her latest work, The Bond.

The series continues on June 15 with a presentation by drama therapist Elisabeth Davis entitled Drama Therapy in Child Psychiatry,, June 22 with art therapist James Andralis presenting The Trauma in the Room: Art Therapy in Transforming Trauma,, and June 29 with award-winning author and music therapist Louise Montello presenting Music in Wellness: The Next Wave.,
