The New School Service Excellence Awards Announced
On April 29, 2011, The New School conferred its Service Excellence Award on five university staffers who routinely go above and beyond the call of duty. President David Van Zandt joined presenters from across the university to celebrate the achievements of (left to right) Jaime Babic, assistant registrar; Barbara Herbst, senior secretary of the Economics Department, The New School for Social Research; John Quinn, technical support specialist, Parsons Fashion Lab; Reina Gonzalez, security officer; and Daisy Wong, assistant director of the galleries, in the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center.
