Parsons Students Take to the Big Screen

Parsons MFA Design and Technology and BFA Fashion Design students have their moment in the spotlight when the Big Screen Plaza, showcases their work on the big screen. The Big Screen Plaza, located on Sixth Avenue between 29th and 30th Streets, is a new platform for emerging artists, featuring a range of work on 30 x 16 ft high-definition screen in one of the city’s newest public plazas. The plaza also features FoodParc and BeerParc.
The Parsons screenings will include the 2011 Parsons BFA Fashion Show, featuring the top collections of graduating students from the program, as well as the 2011 Animation Festival, which features thesis films by students in the MFA Design and Technology program.
The screenings will take place on the following dates and times:
- Sunday, June 19, 7 ‘ 9 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 22, 12 ‘ 2 p.m.
- Friday, June 24, 4 ‘ 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 29, 10 ‘ 12 p.m.
