Today’s Students Are Tomorrow’s Stars at Hudson River Park Series

Smaller crowds, cooler subway cars, and lots and lots of free entertainment can only mean one thing: it’s summertime in the city again and The New School’s getting into the act. Starting in June, the university’s two music divisions are featured exclusively at the Hudson River Park’s Stars of Tomorrow music series.

Alternating between performances by combos from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and chamber ensembles from Mannes College The New School for Music, the free concerts will showcase a wide array of the university’s musical offerings. All performances start at 6:30, and take place at Pier 45 at Christopher Street (take the 1 Train to Christopher St., or the M8 Bus). Read on for a full schedule of performances, and see you on the pier!
