Parsons Joins with Kickstarter to Showcase Inspiring Faculty, Alumni and Student Work
Parsons has recently launched a curated page on Kickstarter, the world’s largest funding platform for creative projects. The page will feature current and recent projects by Parsons students, faculty, alumni and staff, providing a higher profile for some of the inspiring projects coming out of the community at large. Among the currently featured projects are Doodle Defense, a project of MFA Design + Technology student Andy Wallace, which came out of a course he took in Algorithmic Animation; and Edible Cups by The Way We See The World, a design collective comprised of alumni from the Parsons Product Design program.
To view and support projects created by alumni, students, faculty and staff, please visit the Parsons curated page at www.kickstarter.com/parsons. If you have a Kickstarter project that you would like to have featured on the page, please send the details to the New School Communications office at communications@newschool.edu.
