The New Show: New School Employees’ Exhibition of Art and Creative Research


This year’s installment of “The New Show: Works in Progress,” an exhibition of art and other creative research by university employees, opens Thursday, June 13, with an opening reception at 5:00 p.m., in the Parsons 25 East Gallery, 25 East 13th Street, 5th floor.

Over 30 works will be included from offices and divisions across The New School including Advising, IT, the Registrar and many others. Participants include faculty, instructors, support staff, and administrators. The show will feature painting, photography, sculpture, video and poetry, in addition to a vocal performance during the opening reception.

The exhibit runs through Thursday, June 27. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

The New Show is co-sponsored by the Department of Human Resources and organized by Parsons employees Antoinette Curl, Director of Advising Operations at Parsons, and Paul Nicholson, senior advisor at the School of Art, Media & Technology.
