The Feast Global Dinner, October 18

feast
Talking about pressing global problems is easy.  It’s coming up with solutions that’s difficult.  On Friday, October 18, more than 1,200 people will accept that challenge as part of the Feast Global Dinner series, with events in Singapore, Trinidad, Athens, Nairobi, Berlin, Auckland, Ottawa, Paris, London, Hong Kong, Stockholm, Jakarta—and, of course, The New School.

“We are delighted to be partnering with The Feast to be part of worldwide conversation to solve pressing global challenges,” said Michele Kehane, professor of professional practice and social entrepreneurship at Milano, who is spearheading The New School event with the School of Design Strategies at Parsons. “It’s also an opportunity for Milano and the School of Design Strategies to foster the type of interdisciplinary collaboration that we think is critical for preparing students at The New School to tackle complex problems.”

The New School’s Feast event is comprised of a dinner and design-led process to create global solutions involving students from across The New School and other participants from around the world.  The process will also be combined with strong social media and visual documentation that can feed into The Feast’s global platform and our media platforms.

The Feast Dinner takes place on Friday, October 18 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at 6 East 16th Street, on the 12th Floor.  All New Schoolers are welcome—click here to RSVP.
