Newcardcash Program Takes Off
As we kickoff our 2014 spring semester, The New School is excited to announce new additions to our list of merchants for our newcardcash program, a dining and services feature connected to New Schooler’s ID card. Newcardcash now has many off-campus participating vendors.
Newcardcash can be used at select off-campus merchants as well as at New School’s cafeterias and university vending machines across campus. Participants can deposit funds right onto their cards, which can then be used around Greenwich Village.
“We have some exciting new establishments coming in the next couple of months,” said Bill Carty, Director of Campus Card Services. “It’s a little too soon to name names, but keep an eye on the newcardcash website for updates on who we’re adding to the list.”
Adding funds to your ID card is simple and you can get started by visiting the newcardcash website. Once logged in, select the “Manage Account” link on the left, and then select the “Add Funds” link on the top. You may also wish to authorize other people to deposit funds into your account, which you can also do while logged into the site. Remember, balances remaining on your card at the end of semester will simply roll over to the next, and do not expire until leaving The New School permanently.
