Mannes Opera in Review: Mannes x Parsons Present Il Postino

Detailed set designs and costumes, purposeful lighting, and world-class musical talent are just a few of the necessary components for a successful opera. In May 2014, Mannes College The New School for Music and Parsons The New School for Design collaborated for the first time to present a fully staged performance of Daniel Catán’s Il Postino. This year’s Mannes Opera displayed the overwhelming talent of New School students across artistic and creative disciplines.
