Remembering David Carr
The New School community is saddened by the sudden loss of iconic journalist and New York Times media columnist David Carr. He wrote with integrity, intelligence and wit, raising journalistic standards as well as our collective consciousness.
We enjoyed his vital and singular presence as he moderated two panel discussions — “Serial” and the podcast explosion and “Citizenfour” featuring Edward Snowden, journalist Glenn Greenwald and documentary filmmaker Laura Poitras — on campus over the past two weeks.
