Jerry Rengel, MA International Affairs ‘14, Named to Huffington Post’s ’40 Under 40: Latinos in Foreign Policy’
From promoting the most powerful space telescope ever built to the ongoing mission to Mars, Jerry Rengel, MA International Affairs ‘14, has been working tirelessly on behalf of NASA.
Now, Rengel, the organization’s media relations specialist, is being recognized for his work as one of Huffington Post’s “40 Under 40: Latinos in Foreign Policy.” The list of “40 Latinos to watch for in the realm of foreign policy and international affairs who are on their way towards opening doors for the next generation,” according to Josue Lopez Calderon, the list’s author.

Rengel, who lives in Washington, D.C., previously served at USAID as a digital communication specialist as well as a community engagement specialist. He’s also served as a press intern for New York Rep. Charles B. Rangel.
