Launch of Joint Summer Course with Polimoda
Parsons Paris and Polimoda have partnered to offer a new summer course Luxury Design Management – Luxury Matters that offers students the unprecedented opportunity to learn from some of the best fashion and design minds in the world through an itinerant study program between two European fashion capitals, Paris and Florence.
In Paris, special focus is put on Haute Couture and the relation between French fashion heritage, local crafts, creativity and strategic management. These topics will be examined more closely in Italy through the exploration of the strong tradition of Florentine craftsmanship, the production of high-end leather accessories and the Made in Italy.
The 15 international students have started this unique journey at Parsons Paris, rue Saint-Roch, today. They will continue their training at Villa Favard, Polimoda’s Florentine headquarters, in two weeks.
