Dynamic Drawing and Letterforms Fall 2019
This Fall 2019, AMT sophomore students created a digital mixtape for their course, Dynamic Drawing and Letterforms. Each student chose a song of their choice and created a website using HTML/CSS code under the guidance of instructor, Marianne Plano.Â
Students had to learn the basics of coding and work on their graphic design skills to properly communicate their songs without music through their websites. Alongside the websites, they made posters for their songs as well which were made straight web to print and printed using risograph. As this was the first time for most of the students in realms of coding, the class throughout the semester was split into learning technical skills and the other half was about graphically communicating our ides through typography, color, images, and layout.Â
