Student Testimonial – Leonie Sosnizki

Leonie recently completed an internship as a Press Intern at Vivienne Westwood this spring.
During Fashion Week ’22/’23, Leonie worked with Vivienne Westwood, where she applied to assisting the Press Manager via email directly to their press team.
Leonie was contacted by Marine Olivier, with whom she also interviewed. Marine worked as the Press Manager at Vivienne Westwood for over five years, but she ended her post with the last fashion show they prepared this season.
The interview with Marine Olivier was great and very personal as Leonie and Marine are both very passionate and focused when it comes to working perfectly and without mistakes.
After discussing the workload balance with her academic advisor and program director, Leonie was approved to start the internship. The hiring from there with Vivienne Westwood went very fast because Leonie had all requirements they were looking for.Â
Leonie was thrown directly into the action her first week by assisting VIP styling, creating Excel sheets, writing E-Mails, creating invitations for the fashion show, organizing the different parts of the brand such as logistics, model agencies, appointments with celebrities, and checking on deliveries and send-outs for editorial shoots with different countries. Everyone was extremely friendly and open to her opinion, even at this stage of pure stress, because of the connection between each other and each taking time to enjoy each moment at work and after hours.
Leonie really enjoyed being at Vivienne Westwood as she learned a lot, met a lot of new people, came closer to her dreams, spent time with Vivienne Westwood, experienced all kinds of activities, and gained knowledge working for the press of a luxury company during fashion week.
