A Message from the Co-Chairs of the President Search Committee of the Board of Trustees
To The New School community,
We are pleased to share the position specification for The New School President. It was developed with broad input, including perspectives gleaned from our university listening sessions and survey, discussion with the Search Committee, and the expertise of the search consultants at Spencer Stuart. As you will see, it was designed to be more visually and narratively dynamic than a standard position specification, to appropriately reflect the character of The New School and the opportunity for the next President.

As we continue our outreach to generate a broad and diverse pool of candidates, the Search Committee will now begin reviewing applications and conducting interviews. We are excited to enter this next phase of the search process.
