Community Assistant Application Now Open!

A message from: Office of Residential Education

Dear Students,

‌The Office of Residential Education is searching for motivated students to join our team as Community Assistants (CAs) for the remainder of the 2024-2025 academic year. CAs support the daily operations of the residence hall offices. Potential duties include:

  • Staffing the office
  • Answering building emails
  • Assisting with ID Card issues & lockouts
  • Providing residence hall tours

This role is an excellent opportunity to support your peers, gain professional experience, and play an active role within Residential Education. Ideal candidates are proactive, able to multitask, and comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities that support both residents and staff.

Students do not have to live on campus to work as a CA. This role is open to work-study and non-work study students. We are hiring for all residence halls (Kerrey Hall, Loeb Hall, Stuyvesant Park, and 301), and you can indicate a preference on the application.
