Take the NCHA Survey & Win Prizes!

A message from: Tracy Robin, Associate Provost for Student Health Services

‌‌Tamara Oyola-Santiago, Director of Public Heath Services

Dear Students,

‌Do you want to make a real impact on student wellbeing at The New School? By taking the National College Health Assessment (NCHA), your voice helps to shape the future of campus resources and programs.

The NCHA Student Health Survey is sponsored and distributed by the American Health Association (ACHA). While this survey is completely confidential and voluntary, all students who submit a survey will be automatically entered in a random drawing for one of the amazing prizes up for grabs!

‌These prizes include:

  • One (1) Apple iPad with Pencil,
  • Two (2) Apple AirPod Pros,
  • Two (2) $100 Visa gift cards,
  • Four (4) $50 Omni cards for subway,
  • Ten (10) $20 gift cards to O Cafe @ 462 Sixth Avenue or a cafe local to Parsons Paris

In the past, this survey has recommended initiatives you may now use daily on campus, such as gender-inclusive bathrooms and the food pantry. The goal of the survey is to benefit the overall health and wellness of students, which is why it is such an important time to hear your voice.

Search for the subject line “Take the Student Health Survey! Chance to Win an iPad, AirPod Pros or Other Gift Certificates!” in your inbox and follow the unique link to take the survey.

‌There may be some personal discomfort with the content of certain questions. For example, there are questions regarding illegal substance use, interpersonal violence, and sexual behavior. If you’d like to talk with someone about issues addressed in the survey, you may contact Tamara Oyola-Santiago, Director of Public Health Services, for campus resources and support, or contact one of these national resources.
