Voter Registration Information

A message from: Dr. Shondrika Merritt, Associate Provost for Student Affairs and Dean of Students

Dear Students,

Voting is one of the most powerful ways to make your voice heard. There are New York City and New York State elections in November that will impact everyone, and it’s important to be aware of what’s at stake. Whether you’re registering for the first time, checking your registration status, or need information on voting absentee, we’ve got you covered.

If you are eligible to vote and live in NYC, you can register locally. Or you can explore options for absentee voting if you’re away from home. It’s important to confirm that your voter registration is up-to-date so there are no surprises on Election Day. You can check your status, find your polling place, or view what’s on the ballot on www.vote411.org

To learn more about voter registration and to find resources that can help you get started, visit our voter registration page. If you have any questions, please email studentquestions@newschool.edu
