Join Us on Constitution Day – Wednesday, September 17

A message from: Kamla Holland, Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards

Elizaveta Baholdina, Assistant Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards

Dear Students, ‌

‌Did you know that September 17th marks Constitution Day, a day to honor the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787? This important document laid the foundation for the government we have today. ‌

While foundational, we also recognize the complex history of the U.S. Constitution, particularly its relationship with structurally marginalized and racialized communities. While it codified a legal and social contract, the full promise of citizenship, rights, and protections has remained deeply contested. Today, we continue to grapple with the ongoing challenges of ensuring that all communities in the country can access, exercise, and protect these rights equally. ‌

The Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards invites you to partake in a trivia game for a chance to win exciting prizes!
