Dear Students,
The New School is seeking input from students on a range of topics this semester. Your valuable feedback, shared through survey responses, will help us tailor student support resources, the overall learning experience, and communication efforts aimed at making your time at the university a rewarding one. We understand that it’s a busy time in the semester, but we would greatly appreciate your participation in the surveys outlined below:
- NSSE (National Survey for Student Engagement)
- Open to first-year and senior undergraduate students.
- Purpose: The annual NSSE survey runs nationally from March 16 to May 12, 2025, and helps colleges understand what students gain by attending school. Participants are eligible for one of fifty $50 gift cards for the Strand Bookstore.

- Mid-Semester Check-In Survey
- Open to all current students.
- Purpose: The Mid-Semester Check-In Survey runs from March 19 to April 2, 2025,and should take approximately ten minutes to complete. Your responses will help us understand what’s working, what’s challenging, and how we can better support the academic experience at The New School.

- Purpose: We are seeking your feedback and reflections on what it means to be a part of The New School community. The survey is being conducted by Quadrant Strategies, an independent research firm that guarantees that your responses are confidential and anonymous.
