We are happy to share a recording from last week’s talk “What I Learned Being Cursed Online” held by the Brazilian journalist Leonardo Sakamoto.

Leonardo Sakamoto is one of the leading voices for human rights in the country and an internationally recognized voice in the struggle against contemporary slavery. He has a PhD in Political Science from the University of São Paulo and is a Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and currently a visiting scholar in the Politics Department at the New School for Social Research. Dr. Sakamoto is also the Director of the NGO Reporter Brasil and a member of the United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund on Contemporary Forms of Slavery.
