TCDS Film Screening: Karski & The Lords of Humanity

Please join The Transregional Center for Democratic Studies (TCDS) and Public Seminar (PS) for an upcoming screening of the documentary Karski & Lords of Humanity by Slawomir Grünberg.  The film portrays the efforts of Jan Karski, Polish WWII resistance movement courier, whose mission was to alert the governments in the Great Britain and the United States to the emerging Holocaust in Poland during the Nazi occupation. The testimony of Karski, who is known also as “the Man who Tried to Stop the Holocaust” sets the record straight about what the world knew about the Holocaust when there was still time to act.

The screening will be followed by discussion and reception

When: Monday, October 17, 2016, 7 PM

Where: 6 East 16th Street, Wolff Conference Room, D1103
