Twelve students from the Social Innovation Alliance (SIA) and the Association for International Development (AID) will be representing The New School at the Harvard Social Enterprise Conference February 14-15 in Cambridge. This year’s theme is “Reflecting on the Past, Shaping the Future.”

The conference is a leader when it comes to examining the intersection of social impact and business. It is an entirely student run event that showcases innovative ideas, trends, and people in social enterprise. Forbes.com recognized the conference as “One of the Top 12 Executive Gatherings in the World.”

It is an excellent opportunity to connect aspiring and current social entrepreneurs with networks to drive change. Formal and informal networking events will dominate the event, as well as a Social Enterprise Career Fair.

The Pitch for Change is an exciting opportunity for participants to pitch their ideas for new social enterprises to a large audience.

The weekend looks to be exciting, highly beneficial, and full of resources for our group of aspiring, and experienced social entrepreneurs.
