Leading A Zero Waste Lifestyle : An Interactive Talk
If you are at all curious about how we can turn the excrement of our urban environment into the fertilizer of continued progress, this event is for you.
Akira Sakano, a world expert on zero waste living, and chair of the board of the Zero Waste Academy of Kamikatsu, Japan, is flying to New York. She will be visiting with the prime produce community and meeting with practitioners, students, encouragers, and curious onlookers of zero waste living.
As part of her visit, Akira will be giving a public lecture on her experiences, struggles, and learnings while helping her town achieve a zero waste environment. Her talk will be followed by a facilitated question and answer session to allow audience members to connect with each other and go deeper with Akira on themes they wish to explore.
Tickets are $10 – $15.
