Marc Macaluso
Marc began his career as a tech entrepreneur, selling his first company, based on complex adaptive systems, to IBM. He then became employee #5 at Bain Capital backed software company, DataSynapse, where he was Creative Director and Head of Product Development. Learning that global advertising lacked a digital vision, Marc then bridged this early software work to become the acting Director of Creative Technology at AtmosphereBBDO, the digital arm of BBDO, one of the world’s most prestigious ad firms. At BBDO, Marc led global projects for clients that included the NFL, FedEx, Citi, Conversation International, Emirates, Target, and many more. Since then Marc has operated his own independent consulting firm, where he advises on strategic vision, product development, digital marketing, and brand strategy. His clients include Hunter College Graduate studies, Tibco, Lipton, and more, while also functioning as a startup advisor to several tech startups serving various sectors. Marc is currently a screenwriter and filmmaker in Los Angeles, where his first script landed on the Black List, the industry-voted survey of the best unproduced scripts in entertainment.
