I am South African student from Johannesburg with a background in communications, social development, and women’s empowerment. In Fall 2018, I will be starting the Master’s program in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons, where I hope to gain skills in addressing business challenges through human-centred design and innovation. I’m passionate about progressive business solutions that are sustainable, socially responsible, and have a positive impact on communities.
What is the unmet social or environmental need you intend to address?
I want to explore ways to develop sustainable textile manufacturing that is environmentally friendly and empowers local female artisans.
What most excites you about participating in the Impact Entrepreneurship Fellowship?
I’m really excited to be trained in both the theory and practice of impact entrepreneurship while refining my ideas within a supportive and skilled community.
