Joy Stephan

As the Founder/CEO of 20Chairs, Joy Stephan provides clients with systems, insights and measurements to attract and retain long-term, high-value stakeholders – including employees, tenants, and community members. 20Chairs’ proven processes are helping leaders earn industry accolades while increasing net operating income. Before launching 20Chairs, Joy led change efforts with social impact in the corporate and nonprofit sector, empowering more than 10,000 employees from over 80 companies to participate in public service programs and fund education, health, and arts organizations. Partners included the American Conference on Diversity, Teach for America, City Year, American Film Institute and others. Joy received a Master of Science in Organizational Change Management from The New School for Management and Urban Policy and is a Syracuse University graduate. Her credentials and cross-sector skills equip her to work in concert with diverse stakeholders, hear viewpoints with empathy and acumen, and guide companies towards untapped potential to strengthen stakeholder experiences and balance sheets.
